Community Appreciation Gala
Where: Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center 102 Martin Luther King Ave St. Augustine
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
Join new NGO Belonging, Inc. for its inaugural Community Appreciation Gala, an inspiring evening honoring several community bridge-builders, changemakers, and light bearers who are fostering connection across cultural differences and strengthening our communities. Together, we will celebrate stories of courage, compassion, and belonging.
Belonging, Inc.’s mission is to provide education, support and leader development services for clergy, congregations and organizations who want to build communities of belonging where cultural differences are recognized, understood, appreciated, and utilized as strengths.
Belonging, Inc. offers strategies for addressing and healing the fractures that are in us and between us, but its future is endangered by the Florida Legislature’s passage of SB 1134, which as of January 1st will make it illegal for local governments to expend funds on its services.

Historic Lincolnville Festival
Time: 12:00 -5:00pm
Saturday is a Free Admission Street Festival on ML King Avenue From noon to 10 p.m. (We have our booth till 5:00 pm.)
Martin Luther King Avenue transforms into a vibrant block party with food trucks, craft vendors, live bands, and a youth stage — a real celebration of local talent and small business.
Lincolnville is one of the most historic Black communities in Florida, known for its deep cultural roots and role in the civil rights movement. Each year, the festival brings neighbors, businesses, and visitors together to celebrate that legacy with food, live music, art, and connection!
SJCDBC will have:
- Table handing out free children’s books
- Info on our organization and our T Shirts for Sale
- Voter Registration table
There are special activities for young people from noon to 5:00 p.m., including game trucks, food, and a stage with youth entertainment.

This is the most comprehensive list on school library books, banned, or restricted to specific grades and/or requiring parental permission. St Johns County no longer publishes this list. We acquired this information from reliable sources. We hope they resume publishing their list again soon.
Do you have any books you would like to donate? We would love to have them so we can share them! Just email us!
