President Trump rescinded Anti-Discrimination Executive Order 11246 signed in 1965 signed by President Lyndon Johnson
This order is a cornerstone of equal opportunity policy for federal contractors. Federal contractors were not allowed to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. President Trump repealed this entire order.
President Trump has also pressured schools and universities, private companies, law firms, from supporting previous commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. (SOURCE)

President Trump Rescinded Prohibition of Segregated Facilities Executive Order 52.222-21
This order states that any contractor working for the federal government agrees that it does not and will not maintain or provide for its employees any segregated facilities at any of its establishments and that it does not and will not permit its employees to perform their services at any location under its control where segregated facilities are maintained. President Trump

DOGE Government Job Cuts have Disproportionate Effects on Black Federal Workers
18% of the federal workforce is Black, with some agencies — including the Postal Service, the Department of Education, HUD, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Veterans Affairs — employing more than 25% Black workers. (Black Americans comprise 12% of the total civilian workforce.) These positions are distributed throughout the country and have long been regarded as a reliable pathway to the Black middle class. President Trump announced a travel ban targeting 19 countries, this list has now grown to 39 countries spanning Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Pacific countries.
This travel ban came days after President Trump declared Somalians were “garbage” and that

Supreme Court rules 6-3 to Strike Down Protections Against Racial Gerrymandering by the States.
President Trump has appointed the last 3 Supreme Court Justices. The GOP majority Senate confirmed all his choices.
This Supreme Court on April 29, 2026 (Louisiana v. Callais) made another ruling against the Voting Rights Act of 1965. States can now ignore their black communities; and ensure they do not have black representation. States can carve up current black districts so that black citizens are split up into predominately white districts. Supreme Court Justice Kagan who was strongly against this ruling stated: “This will likely cause the largest reduction to minority representation since the end of reconstruction.”
Louisiana is in the middle of a primary, and the Governor just declare a State of Emergency to
halt these elections so that Louisiana’s maps can be redrawn. Louisiana has a 33 percent Black population; the governor’s goal is no black representation.
