Following Florida’s 2026 Legislative Session, Equal Ground is partnering with our organization, Indivisible SJC, and the St. Augustine Beach Democratic Club for a nonpartisan wrap-up event. We’ll break down major new laws and policy changes, exploring what they mean for everyday Floridians—with a focus on voting rights, education, criminal justice, and economic opportunity. Join us to learn how these decisions impact our communities, particularly Black and historically underrepresented voices.

Learn more about the Banned Book movement across the United States. This is the most comprehensive list on school library books, banned, or restricted to specific grades and/or requiring parental permission. St Johns County no longer publishes this list. We acquired this information from reliable sources. We hope they resume publishing their list again soon.
Do you have any books you would like to donate? We would love to have them so we can share them! Just email us!
