What if you need help to Vote in person?

St. Johns County offers a variety of options to accommodate voters with special needs.

All polling locations during Early Voting and on Election Day are supplied with ExpressVote ballot marking devices. Voters with disabilities may use the touch-screen ballot marking device which provides ballots in both audio and visual formats, with additional ADA compliant functions to ensure voter independence when marking their ballot. Voters have the ability to review their selections and make changes before printing their ballot. After printing, the voter will insert their marked ballot into the DS300 for tabulation.

If needed, a voter can bring someone to assist them, or request assistance from an election official. The person assisting the voter must fill out a Declaration to Provide Assistance form, and cannot be their employer, agent of the employer, or union representative.
